Rebranding for an artistic and innovative basketry brand creating measurable social impact.
CONTEXT
The old Kusuka brand was highly focused on selling simple and beautiful basketry products while emphasizing the benefits of operating as an NGO for community support. Suddenly, they became aware of the complexity of staying relevant in their audience because the brand and products were too general.
CHALLENGE
So, after being on the market for a few years, they realized they needed better positioning and more special products to captivate their audience while also providing more stable opportunities for the artisans working on their products. They needed a complete rebranding and a new positioning to become a beloved brand.
APPROACH
With insightful knowledge of their new market and my expertise, we designed a complete new experience for their brand and website. We became more bold, putting more focus on craftsmanship, how we can be innovative, and the value of their new artistic, unique pieces. The new branding is more mature, less NGO-focused, and more aligned with a design business. The social aspect remains relevant but is presented in a more inspiring and intentional way.
Again, thank you so so much for your amazing work on this, we are super happy with the outcome of the new brand and website – it just looks amazing!!! Thanks so much for all the work, inspiration and ideas you put into this, we are really grateful that we could do these projects with you and think we could not have chosen anyone better 🙂
